Not so much a holiday as working away from home… so don’t expect anything new before Sunday night, and perhaps not for longer than that if I decide not to take the laptop with me to Wales.
Meanwhile, on our return, the plan is for a page of ‘Editor’s cuts’, or ‘Missing Chapters’ or the like - bits cut from the existing novels that you can read and see what you missed. The race scene from Boudica I, the ‘life in Maya lands’ chapter from The Crystal Skull. If I can a) find them and b) turn them into downloadable pdf files without too much hassle, then they’ll be yours to peruse as you wish.
Also links to resources for the various books… it’s all in plan, I just need a 48 hour day and a 10 day week. And not to be going away. But the office will be insulated when we get back, which may (will) wreak havoc, but will - we hope - cut the astronomical fuel bills to something minimal, reasonable and earth-friendly. That’s the plan.

Am I entirely mistaken or was there once talk about a short story (?) about what might have happened, had Boudica won? Sorry if I’m confusing this with something else - but if not (one can always hope
), is there any chance of that being published or becoming otherwise available to fans?

It’ll be in the back of the paperback of Rome: The Emperor’s Spy, which is out in January. It’ll also be in the digital version of the BBC History Magazine - the first fiction they’ve ever printed. Not sure when that’s out. But I truly did enjoy writing it, so may create more… it has Bán, plus Valerius, plus Cunomar…
